Dr. Michael Knaus, Head of International Operations & Education and Ranahansa Dasanayake, Doctoral Researcher & International Project Manager of the Institute for Applied Material Flow Management of the Trier University of Applied Sciences (IfaS/HT) called on Prof. Ranjith Senaratne, Chairman of NSF, on 06 March 2020. Prof. Senaratrne has been a strong supporter of the innovative programme on "Travelling University (TU)" conducted by the Trier University in sri Lanka.
Dr. Knaus briefed him on the latest developments on TU which is conducted in partnership with the Rajarata University of Sri Lanka for the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the Mihintale region. Avenues and possibilities for developing cooperation between NSF and IfaS/HT were discussed. IfaS/HT expressed interest in formalizing its partnership with NSF. Ms Christine Dasanayake, Senior Scientific Officer of NSF was also present at the meeting.
