On the invitation of NSF, Mr. Ajith Perera visited NSF on 14 December 2020 along with three able and promising voluntary professionals with a view to discussing ways and means of working together to promote local industries and enterprises while preserving their cultural identity. We had a most animated and spirited discussion on a wide range of subjects with focus on the pottery industry. Creativity and innovation was a common thread running throughout the 2-hour long conversation.
We were truly impressed by his wealth of knowledge, clarity of thought and pragmatic approach with care, concern and affection for the rural folk.
NSF looks forward to working with Mr. Ajith Perera to uplift the local industries, integrating them to regional and global markets in keeping with the vision of the Government.
