National Science Foundation (NSF) Sri Lanka annually conducts Science Research Project Competition (SRPC) for students of Grade nine and above to inculcate research culture among school community in the country. This competition comprised two main components such as gaining research experience by conducting a research project under guidance of senior scientist around 5-6 months and then participating the competition. The competition conducted as two steps. At the 1st step of the competition students have to present their project to expert panel around 20 minutes using PowerPoint presentation and of that 20 best are selected for Step II which conduct as poster presentation. This year Science Research Project Competition started in June 2021 and the step 1 competitions conducted in October 2021 to select the best 20 projects. The best 20 faced the step II competition held at the auditorium of the NSF on 14 and 17 November. The students coming all over the country were among the top 20 and they presented and defended their projects showing good presentation skills and competency. National Science Foundation (NSF) is very happy with their performance and wish them all success for their future.
