Strengthening cooperation on scientific and academic research between Germany and Sri Lanka further, the DAAD and the NSF announce Joint Mobility Program for Project-Related Personal Exchange.

The Programme encourages project-based cooperation in research between German and foreign research teams that work together on an equal footing on a cutting-edge topic. The expertise of the teams should complement each other to produce transfer of knowledge so that the binational cooperation is of added value for both teams. Financial support for stay and mobility for project-participants from Germany will be borne by DAAD. Prospective counterpart project participants from Sri Lanka must meet their expenditure for visiting and stay in Germany as NSF is not in a position to meet funding requirements at this juncture due to severe budgetary constraints. In this occasion, the NSF will facilitate collaboration among research teams remotely through its Global Digital Platform.

The program is open to all disciplines. The Deadline for receipt of applications is 15th September 2022.
